Your sister. Her secret. The betrayal.

There is no bond greater than blood.

When the body of a woman is found stabbed to death, the blame falls to her twin sister. But who killed who? And which one of the women is now behind bars?

Zara and Miranda have always supported each other. But then Zara meets Seb, and everything changes. Handsome, charismatic, and dangerous, Seb threatens to tear the sisters’ lives apart – but is he really the one to blame? Or are deeper resentments simmering beneath the surface that the sisters must face up to?

As the sisters’ relationship is stretched to the threshold, a traumatic incident in Seb’s past begins to rear its head and soon all three are locked in a psychological battle that will leave someone dead. The question is, who?

I give this book a rating of 4 stars and I highly recommend reading it. The book kept my attention from start to finish. It was a dark psychological thriller that I found different compared to others that I have read. It was quite graphic throughout it but it kept my  attention. At some points throughout the book it felt a little long. It was a well written book and I look forward to reading more by Amanda Robson.

Did not finish reading.
I did not like how the book was written. It was written in multiple points of views between characters.
However, the storyline sounded very good and I wanted to read but the way it was written, was very confusing. I give the book 1 star.

A couple of weeks later, Neve’s life in London collapses, and an unexpected lifeline falls into her hands – a cottage in Cornwall that was left to her by the women, Isabelle who she had only just met on the bridge.
This is the solution to all of Neve’s problems, or is it? But, when Neve arrives late one night in the dark woods she finds a creepy looking bungalow with bars across its windows. And her dream house quickly becomes her worst nightmare. The house is hiding a twisted secret that will change her life forever…

I give this book a rating of 3.5 stars. I found the book was good, it kept me wanting to read more, but at the same time I found it slow. I found it was suspenseful and kind of creepy. But wow, there was a twist of ending that I was not expecting and I just couldn’t put the book down!

I was told that “Lengard is a secret government facility for extraordinary people.” My mistake was believing them.
I am different, there is not anyone else in the world like me. I am a monster. For 2 years, 6 months, 14 days, 11 hours and 16 minutes, Subject Six-Eight-Four or ‘Jane Doe’ has been locked away and experimented on without saying a single word.
As Jane starts to crack under the influence of her new and unexpectedly kind evaluator, Ward , she uncovers the truth about Lengard and discovers her own secret is at the heart of a sinister plot.
One wrong move, one wrong word, could change the world.

Wow! This book had me hooked from the very beginning. The last bit of the book, I could not put down! I really like the style of the author’s writing. I really enjoyed all of the characters, they all just seemed to come to life. I give this book a rating of 5 stars and I highly recommend reading it!
