I give this book a rating of 3 stars. It was a good thriller and kept me intrigued. I did not read the first book in the series, Little Girl Lost. I am not sure that reading it would have made my thoughts on this book any different. Maybe only to get to know the characters a little bit better. I don’t really think I will read the next book in the series, as I found it to take me a bit longer to read, so it didn’t quite keep my full attention, i did still want to finish the book. I do recommend reading though, as it was a good police investigation novel, and it was well written. It was more or less just personal preference.
