She has a sister, but not the twin she has taken away from her. Managing to keep her past buried, Ava finds herself being targeted by a mysterious stalker who seems to know more than they should. Ava digs under the surface of secrets and lies from everyone around her, the more her life continues through a downward spiral. And at the end, Ava finally meets her match.
I give this book a rating of 5 stars. I read the first book in the series, The Pyrite. I really enjoy Brandon’s style of writing. This book kept me intrigued and wanting to read more. At first, I wasn’t really too sure how I would like this book because you learn a lot about Ava in the first book. But this book seemed to be more from Ava’s point of view. The ending was very unexpected. I really enjoyed it and I highly recommend it. I look forward to reading more from Brandon Kitchen.
